Affiliate or AdSense: Which Makes More Money?

Whenever we think about Affiliate Marketing Program, the first question that arises in our mind is "Affiliate Marketing or AdSense".

This is a complicated question.  Regardless, if you are blogging as a business, like me for example, you do not want to miss out on the opportunity to earn a steady income through affiliate marketing.  Correct..?

In this post I will share some information that I came to know.  From there you select AdSense or Affiliate Marketing.

If you are new to Affiliate Marketing, then I have written How to Make Money from Affiliate Marketing?  Read the post.

Some popular bloggers monetize their blog through Affiliate Marketing + AdSense + Direct Ads.

Generally speaking, there are rumors that Google is working against Affiliate Marketing.  In fact, Google allows affiliate links on blogs.  But that blog should be a blog with quality information.  Maybe if you post low quality content and have ten affiliate links in it, search engine bots will not accept this post.  So that no one can see your post.

Adsense vs Affiliate Marketing: What you need to know:-

  •  Buying from affiliate network is easier than buying approval in Adsense account.
  •  Affiliate Marketing can earn more money than Adsense.
  •  Most of the affiliates pay us through PayPal or Payoneer.  But this is not the case with Adsense.
  •  You can find affiliate products suitable for all types of niches.  But ads in Adsense are available only for specific niches.
  •  AdSense is exclusively managed by Google.  But there are many big and small affiliate companies for affiliate marketing.
  •  Affiliate ads are more popular and pay more than Google AdSense.

Given the above, Affiliate Marketing can be more profitable and profitable than Adsense.

There are a few things you should know about Affiliate Marketing before making your decision.

Affiliate marketing works on only a few pages.  So you cannot earn money from every page of your blog.  Adsense, on the other hand, works on a per page basis.  Because in affiliate marketing you can earn money only when others will buy the product through your link.

Adsense is the backbone for bloggers.  Because once it starts making payments, it keeps on making monthly payments.  However, the daily income is less than one affiliate sale.  It depends on traffic of blog

If I remove Adsense ad from my blog post in some important place (Header) and replace it with an affiliate banner which suits the niche of the blog, it is very dangerous.  Sometimes it can be good and sometimes it can be dangerous.

However, if I put up an affiliate banner, it will be better than the money I get from Adsense if I sell 4-7 products per month.  If not a single item is sold, then at the end of the month we will not get even a single rupee.

Lastly if you ask me, both Adsense and Affiliate Marketing can be used in blog.  It should also be used properly.  By writing useful content for others, you can earn good amount at the end of the month.

Adsense ads can be used in highly clickable areas i.e. above posts and sidebar 350 blocks.

I suggest you use these places for affiliate marketing.

  •  125*125 (Sidebar)
  •  728*90 (Header,Footer)
  •  468*60 (below the post)

Always remember, a lot of Adsense ads will not give you a lot of money.  Using affiliate links with one or two Adsense ads will give you better results.
